Description: In May 1930 the Alpini National Gathering took place in Naples. The Alpini National Gathering is a traditional event that is generally held on the second sunday of May in a town in Italy, chosen by the national board of the Alpini National Association, to remember the first spontaneous gathering held on Mount Ortigara (Vicenza) in 1920. The video is a copy from the film print preserved by the Museo Nazionale del Cinema in 2007: 35 mm, positive, polyester, 60 m, 3’ at 18 fps, black and white, Italian intertitles, silent.
